1. Microscopic examination of the paint stained area of Exhibit A and the end of the legs of Exhibit A-17 failed to reveal markings, impressions, and contours with individual characteristics suitable for comparison purposes.

2. Comparative examinations of the white paint on Exhibit A with the white paint on Exhibits A-4, A-12, A-13, A-14-1, A-14-2, A-15, A-17, A-18 showed same to be similar in color, texture and chemical reactivity.
3. Comparative examinations of the cream paint on Exhibit A with the cream paint on Exhibits A-4, A-7, A-12, A-13, A-17 and A-18 showed same to be similar in color, texture and chemical reactivity.
4. Comparative examination of the white paint on Exhibit A with the white paint on Exhibit A-16 showed same to be dissimilar.
5. Comparative examination of the wax samples in Exhibits G-131 and G-201 with the candles in Exhibit G (11-17) showed same to be dissimilar.
6. Comparative examination of the hairs of Exhibit E-321 showed same to be similar in gross color, pigmentation and structure to the dark hairs removed from Exhibits E-323 and E-35.
a. It is the opinion of the examiner that these hairs could have had the same source of origin.
b. Comparative examination of these hairs with Exhibits E-4 and E-5 showed same to be dissimilar in physical characteristics.

7. Examination of the dark strands from Exhibit E-322 showed same to be synthetic fibers.
8. Comparative examination of the light brown hairs from Exhibits E-322, E-323 and E-35 showed same to be similar in gross color, pigmentation and structure.
a. It is the opinion of the examiner that these hairs could have had the same source of origin.
b. Comparative examination of these hairs showed same to be similar in gross color, pigmentation and structure to the hair of Exhibit E-4 and could have had the same source of origin.
9. Comparative examination of the blond hairs from Exhibit E-322, E-323 and E-35 showed same to be similar in gross color, pigmentation and structure.
a. It is the opinion of the examiner that these hairs could have had the same source of origin.
b. Comparative examination of these hairs shoed same to be similar in gross color, pigmentation and structure to the hair of Exhibit E-4 and could have had the same source of origin.
10. Examination of the red-brown stains of Exhibits D-159 (2) and D-279 revealed the presence of blood. Further examinations indicated the presence of human blood of the International Blood Group Type A (or AB with decomposi- tion of the Group Specific Factor B).
11. Examination of Exhibit A-12 showed same to be identical in type, grain and annual growth rings to the wood of Exhibit A - note attached photographs.
12. It is the opinion of the examiner that Exhibit A was at one time a part of Exhibit A-12.
